blueberry margarita

this is my go-to margarita recipe. with frozen blueberries for an extra bit of you. and the best part? this is made inside a jam jar. no fancy shaker needed.

SERVES 1

3 min making + 5 min drinking = 8 minutes fun

INGREDIENTS:

  • 50ml good quality blanco tequilla

  • handful of frozen blueberries

  • 1 and a half limes

  • pinch of salt

  • 15ml agave syrup

  • ice

  • 250ml jam jar

    METHOD:

  1. Be ready to become a margarita person.

  2. Now the actual method. In your jar, add the tequila, juice of 1 lime, a pinch of salt, agave and two small cubes of ice. Close the lid of the jar and shake well.

  3. Take the half of lime, and slice it into two. One quarter you’ll rub on the rim of a short glass (don’t you even dare make that a euphemism). You’ll then pinch more salt on a plate and move the rim of the glass in the salt in a circle motion. Salt rim done.

  4. Pop the frozen blueberries and more ice into that salted glass, along with your margarita in a jar. Drink babes.
